Home Hampers
Spring Hill Beef Hampers are available in two types; BBQ Bonanza Pack and the Winter Pack. Both are available in 3 sizes; upgraded, regular and smaller fridge size. ALL hampers are ice-packed in cooler bags and delivered weekly. The beef in the hamper is all individually packed and labelled. The actual hamper size weight will vary. Each first order will have to pay a one off $20 deposit for our cooler bag and ice pack.
All our Spring Hill Beef has now been DRY AGED or HUNG for approx 20 days
SPRING HILL BEEF is natural grass fed beef and has not been pumped with any substance to increase the weight.
It's fat content is considerably less than that of marbled grain fed beef.
The fact that it hasn't been pumped with extra liquid ( like most of the supermarket beef ) and it has less marble through it ( like grain fed beef ) means that our beef DOES NOT take as long to cook !!
True Grass Fed beef steaks usually take 1/2 the time to cook and get tough/chewy very quickly if overcooked (ie) minute stks literally only take 30sec a side and bbq stks 2min a side to keep them tender. We now CRYVAC all our hamper beef ( except for sausages) which will give you a approx 21 day fridge shelf life before freezing.
